Michelle Lamb is a seasoned behavioral health professional with over a decade of experience in clinical leadership, substance use disorder treatment, and program development. She currently serves as Interim Clinical Director at River Oaks Treatment Center, where she leads a multidisciplinary team with a focus on evidence-based care, client-centered treatment, and operational excellence.
Michelle holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Social Work from Ferris State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), and a Masters Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) in Florida. She also holds licensure as an Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor in California and has completed NASW Core Supervision Certification.
From 2022 to 2024, Michelle served as a Clinical Consultant for both Laguna Treatment Center and Desert Hope Treatment Center, guiding clinical program development, compliance, and staff mentorship. Prior to that, she served as Clinical Director at Behavioral Rehabilitation Services and Best Drug Rehabilitation in Michigan. In these roles, Michelle provided strategic oversight for all clinical operations, supervised diverse clinical teams, facilitated training, and ensured alignment with ASAM criteria and regulatory standards.
Michelle began her career as a Counselor and Lead Counselor, providing direct care for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Her clinical approach integrates modalities such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, and Psychodynamic theory.
With a strong foundation in clinical best practices and a commitment to ethical leadership, Michelle is passionate about empowering teams and improving outcomes for individuals navigating the path to recovery.
