Nalini Addie, RN, PMHNP-S is a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatric Registered Nurse with over five years of experience, specializing in substance abuse treatment. Currently serving as an RN Supervisor at River Oaks Treatment Center.

Nalini plays a pivotal role in overseeing patient care and ensuring high-quality nursing support. Known for her ability to truly engage with clients, Nalini builds strong, trusting relationships that foster a healing environment for individuals battling addiction and mental health challenges.

A second-generation graduate of the University of South Florida, Nalini holds a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences. After completing an Associates in Professional Nursing at Rasmussen College, Nalini began her career in psychiatric nursing, where she quickly developed a focus on substance abuse and mental health care.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Frontier Nursing University to further expand her expertise in mental health and addiction treatment.

Outside of nursing, Nalini has a deep love for travel and sightseeing. With a 2025 goal of taking a road trip along Route 66, Nalini enjoys exploring new places, learning about diverse cultures, and finding new ways to connect with the world beyond work.

In addition to her professional roles, Nalini is an active participant in community service. As part of the “Narcan for the Neighborhood” initiative, she helps distribute Narcan in vulnerable communities to combat opioid overdoses. She also provides quarterly educational sessions to juvenile group homes, focusing on substance abuse prevention and empowering youth to make healthy, drug-free choices.

With a strong commitment to both healthcare and community well-being, Nalini strives to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those around her.
