Rachel Fancher is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health and substance abuse treatment. Currently serving as the Dayshift Nurse Supervisor at River Oaks Treatment Center in Riverview, FL, Rachel oversees daily nursing operations in a 124-bed inpatient facility.

She leads a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for individuals in recovery. As the designated Safety Officer during her shift, she is critical in managing on-site incidents, ensuring proper reporting, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Rachel began her nursing career in 2008 after earning her Practical Nursing certificate from the Technical Education Center of Osceola. She continued her education with an Associate of Nursing from Valencia College in 2012 and is currently working toward her Bachelor of Nursing at Hillsborough Community College.

Her clinical background includes significant roles in adult psychiatric units at both Baycare Health Systems and AdventHealth Orlando. There, she provided direct patient care, conducted assessments, developed treatment plans, and supervised nursing personnel, consistently demonstrating strong leadership and clinical judgment.

Licensed by the Florida Board of Nursing, Rachel also holds certifications in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI). She has served in several leadership roles, including Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, and Relief Administrator on Duty, and has participated in the Nurse Practice Council to help shape policies and improve patient outcomes.
