Risha Fleming is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with over 15 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in addiction medicine, mental health, and patient advocacy. As the Admissions Director at River Oaks Treatment Center, she brings a wealth of clinical expertise, leadership, and a deep understanding of the complexities individuals face when entering treatment.

Prior to joining River Oaks, Risha served from 2015 to 2024 at American Addiction Centers in Tampa, Florida. Her role spanned detox nursing, psychiatric care, and pharmacy coordination. She played a vital part in managing patient care across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring medication access, managing comorbidities, and overseeing complex medication regimens, including Vivitrol and Sublocade therapies. Her proactive approach included developing medication protocols, collaborating with external pharmacies, managing inventory, and advocating for patients—especially Veterans—through coordination with VA medical centers.

Risha’s clinical foundation was built during her years with the Florida Department of Corrections and Lifepath Hospice, where she provided care in high-acuity psychiatric and palliative care settings. She is highly skilled in crisis management, IV therapy, wound care, and holistic patient support, always bringing compassion and professionalism to challenging environments.

An alumna of Fortis College School of Nursing, Risha holds certifications in BLS and IV therapy. Known for her strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and unwavering commitment to quality care, Risha continues to champion a patient-first approach that ensures every individual feels supported, safe, and seen from the very first step into recovery.
