Can I Stop my Substance Misuse Without Treatment?

Sometimes those struggling with substance misuse are well-aware that they have a medical problem that needs to be addressed. However, they get worried about the cost of that help before finding out accurate information they can use in order to make an informed decision. While it is true that many inpatient and outpatient treatment programs for substance use disorders (SUD) or alcohol use disorders (AUD) charge fees for their services and amenities, there are many payment options to consider so that money isn’t the hurdle that stops an individual from receiving the lifesaving and quality treatment they need.

At River Oaks Treatment Center individuals are provided with quality service from licensed and professional medical staff and amenities to make their visit comforting and welcoming.  American Addiction Centers (AAC) is the parent company to River Oaks and is the leader in addiction treatment with facilities across the nation. Located in Riverview, Florida, River Oaks delivers on the high-quality standards that have come to be known by all AAC facilities.

How to Pay for Treatment

A key ingredient to what makes River Oaks a solid choice for one’s treatment needs is their compassion. Yes, it’s true that our medical staff has the compassion and bedside manner to care for individuals as they work through part of their journey to recovery. However, our other team members, known as admissions navigators, want to help make it possible for individuals to get the care they need to begin with.

River Oaks accepts the following health insurance providers:

  • United Healthcare.
  • Humana.
  • Tricare.
  • Meritain Health.
  • Aetna.
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield.
  • Ambetter.

Insurance definitely helps to take some of the stress off of an individual from having to pay 100% of the treatment facility costs. Additionally, AAC and River Oaks work with individuals to create a payment plan so that—once again—treatment is possible without having money be an obstacle to receiving the care that is needed.

The #1 contributing variable to an individual’s sobriety is the length of stay that they have in treatment. We want to see your success. We want to see you achieve long-term sobriety, which is why we work so hard with insurance companies to receive the longest length of stay for the coverage available to the individual. The longer a person remains engaged in a treatment program, the likelihood of them staying sober long-term is achieved.

There are 7+ days, 30+ days, and 60+ days options.

7+ days is the shortest length of time an individual can commit to, is covered by most insurance providers, and consists of:

  • Medical detox from alcohol/drugs.
  • Start of recovery.

30+ days is the average length of stay and consists of:

  • Intake evaluation/unique treatment plan created.
  • Group therapy/individual therapy.
  • Aftercare planning.

60+ days provides the best outcome to achieving long-term sobriety due to the length of stay and consist of:

  • Intake evaluation/in-depth treatment plans.
  • Life skills to fight relapse.
  • Addresses co-occurring mental disorders.

River Oaks Treatment Center is a solid facility to begin your journey to recovery and for you to reach long-term sobriety.
